Meeting Notes of the South Bend Guitar Craft Point

Notes:

The meeting started promptly at 10:00AM with a thirty minute sitting. That was followed by forty-five minutes of First Primary work. The work involved both four and six finger patterns at varying tempos. The next activity was working the Second Primary, this task was done using various patterns and all six strings. The strings were hiding on occasion for many of the group. The final thirty minutes was spent working through repertoire, mainly butchering EotN as well as checking the progress on the transcription of Theme I.

The next meeting is scheduled for July 19, 2003.

The meeting started promptly at 9:00AM with a thirty minute sitting. That was followed by twenty minutes of First Primary work. The work involved both four and six finger patterns at varying tempos. The next activity was working the Second Primary, this task was done using various patterns and all six strings. The strings were hiding on occasion for many of the group. The rest of the time was spent working through repertoire, Theme I, all parts, Theme II all parts. Adjourned at noon.

Notes:

The meeting started promptly at 9:00AM with a thirty minute sitting. After an hour of work on Primaries 1, 2, and 3; about 20 on each, the focus shifted to Theme I. Digi would vamp along and play Gtr I over and over and over and over and over again as Brad was working on Gtr III or Gtr II. Brad will work to teach Digi other parts of the Theme.

The next meeting is scheduled for August 9, 2003.
